Ms. Gouw is the retired president and chief operating officer of East West Bank. Headquartered in Pasadena, California, East West Bank is the largest independent bank in Southern California.

Ms. Gouw was ranked one of the “25 Most Powerful Women in Banking” five times by American Banker magazine and has received the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Women Making a Difference” award two times in recognition of her achievements and contributions. In 2023, Ms. Gouw was recognized as one of the Top 30 Asian American and Pacific Islander Board Members by BoardProspects and a 2023 Most Influential Women Corporate Board Directors by Women Inc.

Ms. Gouw currently serves as chairman of the board for Piermont Bank and is a member of the board of directors of Vizio (VZIO) and ECMC Group. She is on the advisory board for the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and serves as a trustee for the US Olympic and Paralympic Foundation and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Ms. Gouw is also a Commissioner with the Ontario International Airport Authority.
