As part of the 2023 Annual Grant Cycle and 3Ts of Education program, the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Foundation awarded $2.5 million to 294 nonprofits mostly located in Orange County, California; Omaha, Nebraska; and Lynchburg, Virginia.
This year’s Annual Grant Cycle recipients include nonprofits with programs focused on arts and culture; civic, community, and economic development; education; health and human services; and the environment. A $75,000 capital grant has also been awarded to 2-1-1 Orange County to support GetHelpOC™ a county-wide community information exchange transforming the social services delivery model by leveraging technology to build an infrastructural backbone for care coordination within the nonprofit, government, academic, and philanthropic sectors.
The 3Ts of Education program will provide $455,000 in grant funding to support technology, teacher training, and textbooks in 142 K-12 schools where there are concentrations of children or grandchildren of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ employees. Over the past 25 years, more than $10 million in grants have been distributed as part of the 3Ts of Education program.

The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Foundation has also made a in support of its Boldly Hoag campaign to create a world-class campus of state-of-the-art specialty institutes in Irvine, California. When completed, the campus will be a center of innovation and technology, benefiting patients, community heath, and attracting top-tier talent to effectively push the standards of care forward.
Having a long history of providing support in times of disaster, the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Foundation will continue as a 2023 member of the American Red Cross Disaster Responder Program, helping to ensure the Red Cross is prepared to meet the needs of people affected by disasters big and small across the U.S. Since 2000, ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Foundation have donated $3.2 million to the American Red Cross disaster response and preparedness efforts.
With the goal of creating lasting, positive impact in the communities where employees live and work, ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Foundation have allocated $8.25 million to its charitable giving program in 2023.
